College of Pharmacy

The rapid advancement of cutting-edge technologies such as the internet, artificial intelligence, and robotics is transforming our lives at an astonishing pace that even imagining the near future of our society has become a challenge. In this era, the notion of merely "adapting to change" feels outdated. Instead, we must now view change as a constant and integral part of our daily lives.

The field of pharmacy is no exception. Advanced technologies are already being actively utilized in the research and development of new drugs. Moreover, an abundance of pharmaceutical information is readily accessible to the public through video-sharing platforms and mobile applications. As a result, pharmacy education must evolve beyond traditional frameworks to reflect these rapidly changing environments.

The College of Pharmacy at Korea University was established in 2011 with the mission of contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and the promotion of human health by cultivating 21st century pharmaceutical professionals and global leaders through future-oriented research and education. Since its founding, the College has continuously strived to stay at the forefront of change by updating its curriculum and recruiting outstanding faculty members. Thanks to these efforts, our College has earned a place among the top 100 institutions in the QS World University Rankings and remains one of the highest-ranked pharmacy schools in Korea.

In connection with the nearby Multi-functional Administrative City, Daedeok Special R&D Zone, Osong Biovalley and Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex, the College is providing and conducting professional and future-oriented education and research across all areas of pharmacy. In addition, we provide further reinforced clinical education through a clinical pharmacy education program based on cooperation with three hospitals under Korea University Medicine.
