Korea University Sejong Academic Information Center hosted two events from March to May this year.
The first event, titled ‘A Journey Through Languages,’ was a language-themed book curation event that ran from March 31 to April 25 for the first semester of 2025. Also known as the ‘Chill Guy Exam,’ this event allowed participants to choose one of three language categories—English, Chinese, or Japanese—and access the quiz via a QR code. However, participants were not allowed to take the quiz in their native language.
Winners of the language quiz event were announced on April 30. Prizes included Stanley tumblers, vertical mouse, and portable batteries. Winners were required to present a student ID (mobile version acceptable) when claiming their prize.
The second event was the ‘15th Annual Book Review Contest’ to enhance students’ critical writing skills and deepen their ability to explore topics thoughtfully.
This year’s selected book was Misbelief by Dan Ariely. The contest was open to current students of Korea University’s Sejong Campus. The submission period ran from April 14 to May 13, and participants were required to download the application form from the Sejong Academic Information Center’s announcement page and submit it via email.
On a related note, the winners will be announced on Friday, May 30, on the Sejong Academic Information Center website, and the awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 4.
