Korea University Sejong Research & business Foundation has been chosen as a project-based organization for the ‘2025 Youth Work Experience Support Program,’ an initiative led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The program is a government-supported initiative, targeting unemployed youth aged 15 to 34. It provides practical training, on-the-job experience, and mentoring to help participants explore various careers and secure employment.
In addition to its role as an organization, it was also selected as a pre-job training institution. To this end, the entire process—from pre-job training to corporate work experience programs—will be managed to enhance youth employability.
The program spans diverse fields such as information and communication technology, software, advertising · marketing, and research and development (R&D). It is designed to help youth systematically build the necessary skills for career exploration and employment while gaining substantial hands-on experience.
Under the project-based work experience program, teams of four young participants will undertake real-world projects that simulate the actual job responsibilities within companies. The program includes a two-day pre-job training session totaling 15 hours, followed by an on-site project period of up to eight weeks. Participants will receive a daily training allowance of 10,000 won, an individual participation allowance of 300,000 won, and team project execution funds of up to 1.2 million won per month.
Director Kim Heeseok stated, “We will continue to provide practical support to ensure that every young person can proactively design their own future. In the future, we will also strengthen our role as a central hub for job and entrepreneurship support in conjunction with the local community.”
